Super 8 by Wyndham Augusta

I read a lot of complaints but I had no problems My room was clean it didn't smell I had clean towels wasn't too noisy. AC blew very cold I would stay there again if I am in Augusta again.

I was impressed with the breakfast layout, Will's service but, most of all the room's eating and bathing area. The room is small, but when you go further back, you'll see that it has a double sinks- one by the microwave and fridge and another one in the bathroom. And it has glass shower doors and modern furniture. The lamps cast a warm glow and just one kept the room well lit.

Room was very clean and smoke free as requested. We had a quick and easy check-in with a friendly attendant in less than 5 minutes. Room also equipped with all the basic items needed. Would definitely stay again if I'm in the area again. Price was pretty reasonable as well.

My stay was excellent because check-in was really fast and easy. Savannah the front desk clerk was AWESOME!! I had an issue with my first room, but she made it right without a moment's hesitation, or any kind of argument at all! Everyone was very helpful, the TV in my 2nd room had a connection issue and both Savannah and another guest (local I think?) named David, hooked me UP!! The room was clean, the property was quiet and the price was unbeatable. I've paid twice as much for 3 time MORE rudeness and 4 times more of a dirty room. Could not be happier!! Okay, let’s be real — this place is a little run down. Yes, there are some stains on the furniture, and yeah, I saw one or two… “working professionals” outside. But for $60 a night, I wasn’t expecting the Ritz. What really surprised me was that the area itself is actually solid — not sketchy at all. There’s a Starbucks literally 30 seconds away, and it’s close to a lot of good stuff. Definitely not a ghetto location. The room itself was fine. No bedbugs, sheets were clean, everything worked okay. The only weird thing was my shower — it would only spit out hot water, so I had to kind of use a tub and bucket situation to rinse off. But again… it’s $60. Pro tip: When you check in, just take a quick video of the room and again when you check out. It helps avoid any issues with your deposit, just in case. Bottom line: If you’ve traveled before (especially in countries like the Philippines), this place won’t shock you. It’s functional, it’s affordable, and it’s in a decent area. Manage your expectations and you’ll be fine.

Had availability last minute in an emergency situation, but the location and "crowd" was very sketchy. I also felt like I was overcharged for my pets. Room itself was great value for the price.

The hotel manager Ms. April is wonderful. This property is well-managed. The rooms are comfortable and clean. If something is needed, all you have to do is call the front desk and they will make sure you get what you need. The property is also at the heart of everything you need within walking distance and close to the interstate. If traveling and looking for a place to stay, the Super 8 is a great choice. There have been no suspect people I have seen on the property. Management does not allow that. They walk the property constantly.

Definitely NOT the place to go if excellence is your forte. It's a little bit shabby and we found actual crack-cocaine in the bathroom. But it was functional, and it worked for staying a quick night. Water pressure was good and hot!!! Room was aight when it came to being clean. Linens and towels were freshly washed. The only problem would have to be the neighbors, it looked like every street corner in Augusta in one spot, you could probably holler out the door for weed or dope and someone would probably come serve you up. Besides that, I had a good time hear, no real complaints. Just if you want an excellent room, look elsewhere but if you're looking for. Quick room on the dime, this is the place to go.

The room we had was perfect for two people and clean. The bed is very comfortable and we loved the pillows and ac worked great. It is a little tricky getting in and out because of the traffic. We stay on this road every time we get a room in Augusta- it's busy and difficult to get in and out of most all of the hotels here, but we liked it enough to come back again. Plus the staff so far have been friendly and helpful which can really make the difference some times.

I booked this location because it was convenient and had a great room rate. I was so pleasantly surprised by the kindness and attentiveness of all the people working there. And the beds were very comfy, the shower was strong and hot, and the a/c kept my room so comfortable. Serious kudos to the staff who could not have been more helpful and kind.
